Modern high-speed planer mills ensure that all finished lumber dispatched from Kiwi Lumber is of an excellent finish and quality.

With the ability to adjust the finish on specific products, our planers finish framing to furniture grades of lumber.

These totally enclosed facilities ensure that the lumber is fully protected during the process and minimise defects and damage – ensuring that customers enjoy lumber with a better finish, and reducing rework later in their manufacturing cycle.

The medium density and consistent nature of radiata pine has allowed this species to become the favoured variety for mouldings, panelling, framing and furniture.
